Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds independently
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, or smoky environments
  • Reliable transportation or willingness to relocate to Saint George, UT
  • Compliance with food safety standards and kitchen hygiene protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Basic knife skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with team members in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation practices
  • Comprehension of the English language, both written and oral

Job Duties

  • Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
  • Preparing food including cleaning, cutting ingredients, and cooking appetizers, snacks, main dishes, and desserts
  • Plating prepared foods based on Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager guidance
  • Working with servers to ensure timely completion of orders according to guest requests
  • Washing and cleaning kitchen utensils and equipment, storing them at the end of shifts
  • Ensuring kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food and safety standards
  • Recording daily fridge and line temperatures
  • Cleaning kitchen equipment daily including refrigerators, flat tops, and oil fryers
  • Cross-functional training in prep cooking and assuming responsibilities as needed
  • Putting away food orders as they arrive
