Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment preferred
- Basic culinary knowledge including knife skills
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds without assistance and 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to stand, walk swiftly, bend, kneel for extended periods
- Must reliably commute or be willing to relocate to Saint George, UT
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions including hot, cold, smoky, noisy, or humid

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation practices
- Proficiency in English both written and oral
Job Duties
- Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
- Preparing food including cleaning, cutting ingredients, cooking appetizers, snacks, main dishes, and desserts
- Plating prepared foods based on guidance from Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager
- Working with servers to ensure orders are completed in a timely manner according to guest requests
- Washing and cleaning kitchen and cooking utensils and storing equipment at the end of shifts
- Ensuring kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food and safety standards
- Daily recording of fridge and line temperatures
- Daily cleaning of kitchen equipment including refrigerators, flat tops, and oil fryers
- Cross-functional training in prep cooking and assuming responsibilities as needed
- Putting away food orders as they arrive
