Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment preferred
  • Reliable transportation or plan to relocate to Saint George, UT
  • Ability to stand and walk swiftly for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
  • Willingness to work in environments that are smoky, noisy, hot, cold, or humid
  • Basic physical ability to bend and kneel

Job Duties

  • Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
  • Preparing food including cleaning, cutting ingredients, cooking appetizers, snacks, main dishes, and desserts
  • Plating prepared foods based on guidance from Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager
  • Working with servers to ensure timely completion of guest orders
  • Washing and cleaning kitchen utensils and storing equipment after shifts
  • Ensuring kitchen operations meet food safety and hygiene standards
  • Recording fridge and line temperatures daily
  • Cleaning kitchen equipment including refrigerators, flat tops, and oil fryers thoroughly
  • Cross-functional training in prep cooking and assuming responsibilities as needed
  • Putting away food orders upon arrival
