Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred
- basic knife skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- physical ability to lift at least 25 pounds without assistance and 50 pounds with assistance
- ability to stand and walk swiftly for long periods
- must reliably commute or plan to relocate to Saint George, UT
- ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
- preparing food including cleaning, cutting the ingredients, cooking appetizers, snacks, main dishes, and desserts
- plating prepared foods based on the sous chef or kitchen manager's guidance
- working with servers to ensure that orders are completed in a timely manner according to the guest's requests
- washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils, and storing equipment used at the end of all shifts
- ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food and safety standards
- daily recording of fridge temperatures and line temperatures
- daily cleaning of kitchen equipment such as refrigerators, flat tops, and oil fryers, including cleaning under, behind, and inside and outside of all equipment
- cross-functional training in prep cooking and the ability to assume those responsibilities as necessary based on the needs of the business
- put away food orders as they arrive as needed
