Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a full-service kitchen preparing food from scratch
  • Food Handler Card
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Ability to read and follow recipes
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and knife-handling skills

  • Senior Living or healthcare food service experience is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Prepare fresh, high-quality meals following established recipes
  • Practice proper food handling and sanitation procedures
  • Set up and break down workstations efficiently
  • Keep all kitchen stations clean, organized, and sanitized
  • Expedite and serve meals in a timely and courteous manner
  • Check food and plate temperatures for proper service
  • Restock food and supplies as needed
  • Assist with overall kitchen operations and teamwork
