Job Requirements

  • 1+ years previous culinary team experience
  • Working knowledge of POS software
  • Fluent in English
  • Cooking involves frequent bending, reaching overhead, and squatting
  • Ability to lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 40 lbs without assistance
  • Ability to push/pull objects weighing up to 75 lbs without assistance
  • Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills
  • Ability to remain on feet for extended periods
  • Able to work in a moderate to loud noise environment typical of a restaurant setting

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years previous culinary team experience
  • Working knowledge of POS software
  • Fluent in English
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Strong verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare menu items from scratch with the kitchen team
  • Ensure the successful and timely execution of the menu
  • Maintain an understanding of all menu items and ingredients and assist guests with dietary or preparation questions
  • Develop prep and order specifications for assigned kitchen station
  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper kitchen stocking
  • Follow safety and cleanliness standards and protocols
  • Participate in cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen areas
  • Support catering efforts for special events and group meetings
  • Operate and deep clean all kitchen equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef
