Job Requirements

  • 1+ years' previous culinary team experience
  • Working knowledge of POS software
  • Fluent in English
  • Cooking involves frequent bending, reaching overhead, and squatting
  • Ability to lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 40 lbs without assistance
  • Ability to push/pull objects weighing up to 75 lbs without assistance
  • Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills
  • Remaining on feet for extended periods
  • Ability to work in moderate to loud work environment typical of restaurants

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years of previous culinary team experience
  • Working knowledge of POS software
  • Fluent in English
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare menu items using scratch ingredients with the kitchen team
  • Ensure timely and successful execution of menu
  • Maintain understanding of all menu items and assist guests with dietary or preparation questions
  • Develop prep and order specifications for assigned kitchen station
  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure kitchen is properly stocked
  • Follow safety and cleanliness standards and participate in kitchen cleaning and sanitizing
  • Assist team with standard kitchen duties
  • Operate and deep clean all kitchen equipment
  • Support catering efforts for special events and group meetings
  • Perform other duties or special projects as assigned by Head Chef
