Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year prior work experience as a cook, baker, or enrollment in a culinary program
  • Ability to use scales, thermometers, measuring, and divide and multiply recipes
  • Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with baking equipment including oven and mixers
  • Clear understanding of kitchen and food safety guidelines
  • Valid Food Handlers Card if required by county

Job Duties

  • Prepare products using all methods, established portions, and recipes for baking preparation
  • Manage daily production and communicate product counts with coaching team
  • Prepare breakfast items for bake including quiche, cinnamon rolls, muffins, etc
  • Prepare and bake bread items including loaves, buns, rolls, cookies, etc
  • Daily preparation of seasonal fresh fruit for pies and toppings
  • Clean all bake related machines, workstations, transit trays, and instruments too large for dishwasher
  • Properly label, organize and rotate bake ingredients in freeze and storage areas
  • Rotate bake inventory to maintain freshness and quality
  • Receive orders, check invoices, and put deliveries away
  • Prepare kitchen for the day including making sure everything is secure and ready
  • Notify coaches of any food quality issues, inconsistencies, or low inventory
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary bake area at all times
  • Comply with health, sanitation, and safety policies and procedures
  • Promote and provide extraordinary service to team members and guests
  • Demonstrate dependable leadership qualities and proactive escalation
  • Cross train in other back of house/kitchen functions
  • Must be available to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
