Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a Cook or Chef
- Ability to follow recipes and culinary standards
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols
- Strong attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Commitment to maintaining professional appearance and hygiene
- Residency within the State of Colorado
- Successful completion of state-required screening process for employment

- Experience as a Cook or Chef in a restaurant or similar setting
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Positivity and endurance in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Willingness to engage in continuous learning and skill development
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance
Job Duties
- Prepare assigned meals following established recipes and gastronomic standards
- Showcase flair for plating and presentation
- Maintain temperature charts and food safety records
- Adhere to sanitation protocols and quality control
- Notify the Chef of inventory needs and participate in streamlined kitchen operations
- Uphold Civitas standards in personal grooming and kitchen hygiene
- Assist in organizing kitchen, food storage, dish room, and other culinary areas
- Ensure first-in, first-out food rotation system with proper dating and organization
- Assist Chef Manager/F&B Director to improve kitchen efficiency and offer staff training opportunities
- Follow all sanitation, food handling protocols, safety policies, and regulatory requirements
