Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in cooking or food preparation
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency
- physical stamina for standing and kitchen work
- effective communication skills
- residency within the state of Colorado
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a Cook or Chef in a restaurant or similar setting
- positive attitude and endurance
- commitment to continuous learning
- ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- strong attention to quality, creativity, and food presentation
Job Duties
- Prepare assigned meals following established recipes and gastronomic standards
- showcase flair for plating and presentation
- maintain temperature charts and food safety records
- adhere to sanitation protocols and quality control
- notify the Chef of inventory needs and participate in streamlined kitchen operations
- uphold personal grooming and kitchen hygiene standards
- organize kitchen, food storage, dish room, and culinary areas
- ensure first-in, first-out food rotation with proper dating and organization
- assist Chef Manager/F&B Director to improve kitchen efficiency and provide staff training
- follow all sanitation, food handling protocols, safety policies, and regulatory requirements
