- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure during busy services
- Team player with effective communication skills
- Familiarity with commercial kitchen safety and sanitation procedures
- Food handler's certification

Job Duties
- Prepare a variety of hot dishes using sauté techniques with precision and efficiency
- Operate sauté pans and coordinate multiple items on the stove during service
- Work with proteins, vegetables, sauces, and garnishes to execute composed dishes
- Maintain high standards for food quality, taste, presentation, and consistency
- Follow standardized recipes and plating guidelines while contributing to the flow of the kitchen
- Assist with prep tasks including portioning proteins, reducing sauces, and cutting vegetables
- Uphold strict food safety and sanitation protocols in accordance with health department guidelines
- Monitor inventory for assigned station and assist with FIFO rotation and prep lists
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and timely service
- Support training and mentoring of junior cooks when needed
