Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- food handling certification
- prior experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment preferred
- the ability to work a full-time schedule
- ability to follow directions, guidelines and work objectives
- must be able to stand for an entire shift
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- maintain regular attendance in compliance with LodgeWorks standards
- inspect and clean food preparation areas, including equipment and work surfaces to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
- ensure the freshness and proper storage of food
- set up, clear and break down the workstation
- utilize a variety of kitchen equipment throughout each shift following all safety procedures
- identify hazards and assess risks associated with food and equipment and report them to management
- control waste and use appropriate portion sizes to maintain food costs
- monitor food inventories and maintain appropriate levels
- prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
- practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
- clean working and storage areas, tools, equipment, and floors as needed
- maintain all sanitation requirements including temperature control, storage, product rotation and handling
- execute daily side work with enthusiasm and motivation
- assist in additional tasks or duties as requested by management
