Job Requirements

  • U.S. work authorization required
  • ability to lift 50 pounds
  • availability for part-time shifts
  • willingness to follow kitchen opening and closing procedures
  • ability to arrive on time and in full uniform
  • willingness to adhere to employee handbook policies
  • positive attitude and team spirit

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of kitchen experience preferred but not required
  • basic math skills including addition and subtraction
  • legible handwriting
  • strong customer service skills
  • good oral communication skills

Job Duties

  • Know and understand every item on the menu including portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules
  • assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served
  • work closely with the Chef to provide absolute consistency on every plate
  • work on timing to get every ticket out in an appropriate amount of time
  • communicate consistently with co-workers during prime service hours
  • help with prepping and getting ready when your station is ready for service
  • keep your workstation clean and stocked
  • practice safe knife handling
  • assist in putting away deliveries when help is needed
  • lift up to 50 pounds
  • respect each co-worker including front of house
  • open and close the kitchen properly following checklists
  • arrive promptly and in full uniform for all scheduled shifts
  • follow all policies in the employee handbook
  • maintain a positive attitude and have fun at work
