Job Requirements
- Ability to successfully perform all job duties of the Line Cook/Prep Cook role
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Prepared to multitask in accordance with demands of the business
- Places value on diversity and community
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in the English language
- Food Safety/Food Handler certification required
- Demonstrated success in culinary excellence and food service hospitality
- Ability to problem solve and handle high stress situations
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience cooking in a restaurant kitchen
- Demonstrated success in culinary excellence and food service hospitality
- Knowledge of OSHA and EEOC regulations and restaurant food safety procedures
- Point of Sale (POS) knowledge and skills preferred
- Food Safety and Food Handler certification required
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Basic math skills
- Proven ability to problem solve and handle high stress situations
- Ability to multitask according to business demands
- Ability to identify opportunities and implement corrective actions
Job Duties
- Ensure guest satisfaction through excellent food quality and presentation
- Follow recipe guidelines accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and tools
- Assist with food preparation and cooking as required
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with management to meet restaurant objectives
- Support special events and manage inventory and prep guidelines
