Job Requirements

  • At least high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years cooking experience in restaurant kitchens
  • Food Safety/Food Handler certification
  • Knowledge of OSHA and EEOC regulations
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work in a hot, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math proficiency
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask under pressure
  • Commitment to safety and hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years experience cooking in a restaurant kitchen
  • Demonstrated success in culinary excellence and food service hospitality
  • Knowledge of OSHA and EEOC regulations, restaurant and food safety procedures
  • Preferred skills in Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Ability to perform all job duties of the Line Cook/Prep Cook role
  • Food Safety/Food Handler certification required
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent oral and written communication
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • Values diversity and community with respect for others
  • Proven problem-solving and stress management skills
  • Ability to multitask according to business demands
  • Ability to identify opportunities and implement corrective actions

Job Duties

  • Maintain culinary excellence in hospitality and food service
  • Demonstrate knowledge of kitchen equipment and tools
  • Follow recipe guidelines, cooking techniques, and food preparation standards
  • Manage inventory and adhere to prep guidelines
  • Assist with special events as needed
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant kitchen
  • Collaborate with management to ensure guest satisfaction through food quality
