Job Requirements

  • hold a current Food Handler Card
  • at least 2 years of relevant cooking experience preferred
  • ability to follow recipes accurately
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • ability to work in varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • physical ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs
  • manual dexterity to use kitchen tools
  • ability to work in extreme temperature conditions and confined spaces
  • basic English language proficiency
  • ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • maintain a professional appearance as per company standards

Job Qualifications

  • hold a current Food Handler Card
  • 2 years cooking experience preferred
  • broiler cooking experience preferred
  • basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations
  • knowledge of service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
  • good knowledge of broiler and sauté cooking fundamentals
  • knowledge of accepted sanitation standards
  • familiarity with kitchen equipment operation
  • basic mathematical skills for recipes and portion sizes
  • basic knowledge of English for communication
  • ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions
  • ability to operate beverage equipment such as coffee makers

Job Duties

  • prepares daily preparation lists for production
  • reads and employs math skills to follow recipes
  • prepares all broiled and sautéed food items according to standard recipes and guest specifications
  • visually inspects and selects food items of the highest standard
  • checks and controls proper storage and portion control
  • keeps all refrigeration, equipment, and working areas clean and compliant with health regulations
  • maintains logs for cooling, heating, and temperature
  • adheres to all company policies and safety procedures
  • knows fire prevention and emergency procedures
  • utilizes protective equipment
  • reports unsafe conditions and incidents to management
  • maintains neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • performs any related duties requested by management
  • assists other kitchen personnel as needed
