Job Requirements

  • minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant environment
  • strong knowledge of culinary techniques and cooking methods
  • excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • present a calm demeanor and a positive attitude
  • flexibility to work pm shifts including closing shifts weekends and holidays
  • ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • this position is a full-time on-site position with no work from home flexibility

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • prepare and cook menu items as directed by the chef de cuisine ensuring consistency and quality
  • follow recipes portion controls and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant
  • set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to health and safety regulations
  • assist with inventory management including ordering and stocking
  • execute precise knife skills cooking techniques and plating standards
  • monitor food quality while cooking and ensure proper seasoning and presentation
  • work efficiently to manage time and resources during busy dinner shifts
  • work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations
  • communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure guest satisfaction
