Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume restaurant environment
  • Flexibility to work PM shifts, including closing shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

  • Expertise in elevated service is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and cooking methods
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Present a calm demeanor and a positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work PM shifts, including closing shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items as directed by the Chef de Cuisine, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking
  • Execute precise knife skills, cooking techniques, and plating standards
  • Monitor food quality while cooking and ensure proper seasoning and presentation
  • Work efficiently to manage time and resources during busy dinner shifts
  • Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations
  • Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure guest satisfaction
