Job Duties
- prepare and cook menu items as directed by the Chef de Cuisine, ensuring consistency and quality
- follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant
- set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies for dinner service
- maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
- assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking
- execute precise knife skills, cooking techniques, and plating standards
- monitor food quality while cooking and ensure proper seasoning and presentation
- work efficiently to manage time and resources during busy dinner shifts
- work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations
- communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure guest satisfaction
