Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in culinary preparation or kitchen operations preferred
  • ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • physical ability to lift and transport heavy food items
  • strong adherence to safety and hygiene standards
  • capability to maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
  • good communication skills
  • willingness to follow company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to follow recipes and production guidelines accurately
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
  • good physical stamina to handle heavy food products
  • excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Prepares daily preparation lists for production
  • reads and employs math skills to follow recipes
  • prepares all broiled and sautéed food items according to standard recipes and guest specifications to ensure product consistency
  • visually inspects, selects, and uses only food items of the highest standard in menu preparation
  • checks and controls proper product storage and portion control to maintain quality
  • keeps refrigeration, equipment, and work areas clean and compliant with health regulations
  • maintains all logs related to cooling, heating, and temperature
  • adheres to company policies and safety procedures
  • follows department fire prevention and emergency protocols
  • utilizes protective equipment
  • reports unsafe conditions and accidents to management
  • provides a safe work environment by following all safety and security rules
  • maintains a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance as per team member standards
  • performs related duties as requested by management
  • assists other kitchen personnel when needed
