Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Current Food Handler's Permit
- State sanitation certificate
- 3-4 years related and advanced food service experience preferred
- Experience with kitchen equipment operation preferred
- Intermediate to advanced knife skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to read and follow recipes unsupervised
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks

- Maintenance of professional appearance
- Availability to work some holidays and flexible hours
Job Qualifications

- Experience operating kitchen equipment preferred
- Intermediate to advanced knife skills
- Extensive knowledge of kitchen environment and food preparation
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to read and follow instructions and recipes unsupervised
- Basic computer skills

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook to order foods that may require short to mid-level preparation time
- Prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and operate a grill station
- Prepare food in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations
- Read food orders or receive verbal instructions and prepare food accordingly
- Provide high quality service to customers
- Follow recipes and product directions for cooking and serving various food products
- Operate kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, wash, peel, cut, and shred fruits and vegetables, and trim meat, poultry, or fish
- Taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records
- Attend allergy and foodborne illness training and apply safety principles
- Receive inventory, move and lift foodstuffs and supplies, and prepare meals for special diets
- Produce batch goods using cooking techniques
- Take and record temperatures and correct discrepancies
- Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment
- Assist with setup and breakdown of serving lines and food areas
- Properly record and label and store food
- Comply with safety and risk management policies and participate in safety training
- Attend designated training programs
