Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some kitchen line or prep experience desired
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as squatting, reaching, and bending
- Weekend availability is a must
- Knowledge of safe and sanitary food-handling practices
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure during busy periods

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some kitchen line or prep experience desired
- Preferred post high school degree
- Minimum two years full-time experience in a related hospitality setting or equivalent education and work experience
- Knowledge of safe food storage and handling techniques
- Ability to follow instructions including menus and recipes
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to stand for 5-6 hours and perform bending, reaching, squatting regularly
- Ability to work collaboratively and support an inclusive environment
Job Duties
- Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices
- Substitute for, assist other cooks during emergencies or rush periods
- Wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables in preparation for use
- Prepare, season, and cook soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, or other foodstuffs for consumption
- Identify, list and explain ingredients in response to dietary inquiries
- Prepare and serve family meals for hotel employees
- Perform other related work duties as assigned
