Job Requirements

  • Must have prior experience as a dietary aide, cook, or in a central kitchen
  • Knowledge of quality food production and servicing techniques, food safety/sanitation requirements and procedures
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and criminal history background check

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals according to dietary guidelines and patient needs
  • Collaborate with Registered Dietician for special diet plans
  • Ensure kitchen sanitation and adhere to food safety standards
  • Assist with inventory management including cleaning freezer
  • Engage with residents to receive feedback on meals
  • Maintain quality food production and serving techniques
  • Perform other duties as needed to meet nutritional needs
