Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a culinary or kitchen environment preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform kitchen tasks
  • Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and portion control
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions precisely

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and presentation guidelines accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills to report issues and collaborate with team members

Job Duties

  • Prepare and plate dishes consistently following chef-provided recipes and presentation standards
  • Conduct sensory evaluations of all dishes before service ensuring high quality standards
  • Report any quality issues promptly to supervisors
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation by following a clean as you go approach
  • Set up and manage workstation efficiently maintaining pace and accuracy
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines including temperature monitoring and equipment cleanliness
