Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum of one year restaurant or senior living cooking experience
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work part-time including weekends and evening rotations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Willingness to engage with senior residents in a hospitable manner
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Culinary degree preferred
- Minimum of one year restaurant or senior living or equivalent cooking experience
Job Duties
- Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and operational organization
- Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times
- Produce and serve menu cycle programs compliant with nutritional and dietary criteria
- Exhibit cooking standards of speed, accuracy and efficiency
- Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of cooking preparation and production
- Assist with serving of meals and ware washing as necessary
- Visit residents periodically to evaluate food service and conduct evaluations to improve operations
- Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner
- Support creating a culture where business decisions and employee engagement drive revenue and occupancy
