Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs following safety procedures
  • Capability to work in various physical positions for extended periods including stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, and squatting
  • Ability to work extended and flexible hours including weekends
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations

Job Duties

  • Work with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to deliver vibrant menus
  • Ensure all safety procedures are followed and the kitchen meets health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Utilize basic cooking techniques such as braising, sauteing, roasting, grilling, and portion control
  • Demonstrate basic knife handling skills and correct knife usage
  • Participate in catering food and beverage functions
  • Actively engage in kitchen prep and daily set up
  • Maintain high energy and passion throughout service hours
  • Manage inventory and production efficiently
  • Understand inventory and product controls within culinary guidelines
  • Work effectively in all service types including a la carte and buffet
  • Maintain a spotless kitchen and adhere to personal hygiene and food handling standards
