Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of relevant cooking experience
  • Serv-safe certification required or to be obtained within 90 days
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and safety standards
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Timely and professional attendance
  • Willingness to work in fast-paced environment
  • Adherence to personal hygiene and clean uniform policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate
  • Degree from a culinary institute preferred
  • Serv-safe certified
  • 1-3 years of similar or equivalent cooking experience
  • Basic cooking experience in restaurant, hotel, resort, or club environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
  • Knowledge of current culinary and dining trends

Job Duties

  • Assist Executive Chef and Sous Chef with daily dining operations
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Train co-workers on culinary processes as needed
  • Work any kitchen station and perform basic cooking techniques
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Participate in catering food and beverage functions
  • Manage inventory and product control within culinary guidelines
