Job Requirements

  • Prior line cook experience preferred
  • Ability to work part-time schedule including mornings and afternoons
  • Ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • Physical ability to perform kitchen tasks including standing for long periods
  • Willingness to follow company safety policies including proper glove use and footwear
  • Ability to interact professionally with customers
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • Prior line cook experience preferred
  • Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP guidelines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality food preparation
  • Basic math skills for portion control and record-keeping

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals using correct portion sizes and presentation standards
  • Maintains food safety and sanitation standards throughout food preparation and service
  • Cleans kitchen and equipment, stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance issues and faulty equipment promptly
  • Attends safety meetings and maintains a clean, safe work environment
