Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • minimum of one year cooking experience in a high-volume or fast casual dining environment preferred
  • ServeSafe certification or equivalent required
  • excellent customer service skills
  • effective communication skills in English
  • ability to prioritize tasks and multitask
  • adaptability to changing priorities
  • proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics in English
  • physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform essential job functions

Job Duties

  • prepare food items by following recipes and product directions
  • maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • follow production prep list and keep accurate records
  • requisition supplies and equipment as needed
  • use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • maintain a clean and organized work environment free of hazards
  • assist with ordering and planning food supplies
  • report equipment repair needs to management
  • monitor proper rotation and dating of prepared food items
