Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year closely related cooking experience
- experience in high volume or fast casual dining preferred
- ServeSafe Certification or equivalent
- ability to work unsupervised and exercise good judgment
- high school diploma or GED
- excellent customer service and communication skills in English
- self-starter with multitasking ability
- adaptability to changing priorities
- proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics in English
- ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical job functions
Job Duties
- Prepare food items with 100% recipe adherence
- follow production prep lists and keep accurate records
- use knives, slicers, and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- wash, slice, and peel items per prep list
- store prepared food safely and label with dates
- follow all food safety, sanitation, and brand standards
- restock kitchen supplies regularly
- assist with ordering and planning food supplies
- report equipment repair needs to management
- monitor food rotation and storage areas
- maintain a clean and safe work environment
- work effectively in a fast-paced setting
- perform other assigned duties
