Job Requirements

  • minimum of 1 year of experience in the restaurant industry
  • at least 6 months experience in a high-volume restaurant setting preferred
  • able to communicate clearly with teammates and management
  • able to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds
  • able to work in standing position up to 10 hours
  • at least 16 years of age
  • authorized to work in the US

Job Duties

  • ensure quality, food safety, sanitation, and timeliness of dishes served
  • be well-acquainted with menu items, recipes, plating guidelines, and safety information
  • prepare a variety of food items using knives, mixers, blenders, food processors, scales, and portion bags
  • prepare foods for service using ovens, gas stoves, griddles, and broilers
  • maintain a clean and sanitary work station and working area
  • handle all products properly in accordance with health department standards and company guidelines
