Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • One to three years of experience as a line cook in a high-quality full service or fast casual environment
  • basic math and critical thinking skills for following prep work and recipes
  • ability to work safely throughout a shift including standing, walking, bending, and lifting supplies up to 50 lbs
  • strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • hospitality-minded and friendly personality
  • able to remain calm and resolve issues under pressure
  • organized and detail-oriented

Job Duties

  • Setting up your station and successfully tackling your daily prep list
  • receiving goods from vendors and ensuring all products meet high standards
  • assisting kitchen stations and delivering beautifully prepped items to the line
  • maintaining a tidy, organized, and sanitized workspace, including culinary and food storage areas
  • practicing exceptional cooking techniques
  • preparing the kitchen for service by following prep lists, organizing ingredients, and adhering to portion guidelines
  • collaborating with team members to complete service in a positive, respectful environment
