Job Requirements

  • Meet state and local requirements for Food Handler’s certification
  • Obtain certification by first day or within timeline
  • Previous cooking experience preferred
  • Open to varied work schedules and hours
  • Ability to stand for several hours
  • Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects at various heights
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to serve guests with high urgency
  • Ability to have fun

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cooking experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
  • Food Handler's certification obtained by first day or within required timeline
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain quality and consistency under pressure
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Master the fry station, ensuring fried items are cooked perfectly
  • Operate the grill station, cooking proteins and taco ingredients accurately
  • Manage the sauté station to create flavorful dishes
  • Operate steam equipment for steamed dishes
  • Assemble and build tacos to order, maintaining high standards
  • Prepare and cook ingredients according to recipes and standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace
  • Work collaboratively with back-of-house team members for timely food preparation
  • Assist with inventory management and ingredient stocking
  • Operate efficiently during busy periods while maintaining food quality
