Job Requirements
- Meet state and local requirements for Food Handler’s certification
- Obtain certification by first day or within timeline
- Previous cooking experience preferred
- Open to varied work schedules and hours
- Ability to stand for several hours
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects at various heights
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to serve guests with high urgency
- Ability to have fun
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
- Food Handler's certification obtained by first day or within required timeline
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to maintain quality and consistency under pressure
- Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Master the fry station, ensuring fried items are cooked perfectly
- Operate the grill station, cooking proteins and taco ingredients accurately
- Manage the sauté station to create flavorful dishes
- Operate steam equipment for steamed dishes
- Assemble and build tacos to order, maintaining high standards
- Prepare and cook ingredients according to recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace
- Work collaboratively with back-of-house team members for timely food preparation
- Assist with inventory management and ingredient stocking
- Operate efficiently during busy periods while maintaining food quality
