Job Requirements

  • Must meet state and local requirements for food handler’s certification
  • Certification(s) must be obtained by first day or within location timeline
  • Open to varied work schedules and hours based on restaurant’s needs
  • Must be able to stand for several hours
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to serve guests’ needs with a high sense of urgency
  • Ability to have fun

Job Qualifications

  • Food handler certification or ability to obtain by first day
  • Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain high energy and work pace in fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of cooking techniques including frying, grilling, sautéing, and steaming
  • Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Master fry station ensuring all fried items are cooked to perfection with the right crispiness and flavor
  • Operate grill station cooking proteins to correct temperature and ensuring taco ingredients are grilled perfectly
  • Manage sauté station handling various ingredients to create flavorful and perfectly cooked dishes
  • Operate steam equipment to prepare dishes requiring steaming maintaining the right texture and flavor
  • Assemble and build each taco to order ensuring each meets high standards and guest expectations
  • Prepare and cook ingredients according to recipes and standards
  • Monitor quality and presentation ensuring every dish meets company standards
  • Maintain clean and organized workstation ensuring food safety and sanitation
  • Collaborate with back-of-house team to ensure timely and correct food preparation
  • Assist with inventory management and stocking ingredients
  • Operate efficiently during busy periods while maintaining food quality and presentation
