Job Requirements
- Meet state and local requirements for Food Handler's certification
- Obtain certification by first day or as per location timeline
- Previous cooking experience preferred
- Available to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach objects on shelves at various heights
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 40 pounds
- High sense of urgency to serve guests
- Positive attitude with the ability to have fun

Job Duties
- Master the fry station to ensure all fried items are cooked to perfection with proper crispiness and flavor
- Operate the grill station, cooking proteins to the correct temperature and ensuring taco ingredients are grilled perfectly
- Manage the sauté station handling various ingredients to create flavorful, perfectly cooked dishes
- Operate steam equipment to prepare steamed dishes maintaining proper texture and flavor
- Assemble and build tacos to order, ensuring each meets high standards and guest expectations
- Prepare and cook a variety of ingredients following Torchy's recipes and standards
- Monitor quality and presentation of each dish before serving
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with back-of-house team members to ensure timely and accurate food preparation
- Assist with inventory management and organizing ingredients
- Work efficiently during busy periods maintaining food quality and presentation
