Job Requirements

  • Must meet state and local requirements for food handler's certification
  • Certification must be obtained by first day or within timeline required by location
  • Ability to stand for several hours
  • Ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels
  • Ability to lift, push, pull or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
  • Open to varied work schedules and hours
  • Ability to serve guests' needs with a high sense of urgency
  • Ability to have fun
  • Previous experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cooking experience preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to follow recipes and maintain quality standards
  • Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain as required

Job Duties

  • Master the fry station ensuring all fried items are cooked to perfection with the right crispiness and flavor
  • Operate the grill station cooking proteins to the correct temperature and ensuring each taco ingredient is grilled to perfection
  • Manage the sauté station handling various ingredients to create flavorful dishes
  • Operate steam equipment to prepare dishes requiring steaming while maintaining proper texture and flavor
  • Assemble and build each taco to order meeting high standards and guest expectations
  • Prepare and cook ingredients on grill, fryer, sauté and steam stations according to recipes and standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation ensuring food safety and sanitation standards
  • Work closely with other back-of-house team members to ensure timely and correct food preparation
  • Assist with stocking and organizing ingredients for kitchen success before and during service
  • Operate with a sense of urgency during busy periods maintaining quality and presentation of food
