Job Requirements
- Must meet state and local requirements for Food Handler's certification
- Certification(s) must be obtained by first day or within location timeline
- Previous cooking experience preferred
- Ability to stand for several hours
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
- Ability to serve guests' needs with a high sense of urgency
- Open to varied work schedules and hours based on restaurant needs
- Ability to have fun

Job Duties
- Master the fry station, ensuring all fried items are cooked to perfection with the right crispiness and flavor
- Operate the grill station, cooking proteins to the correct temperature and ensuring each taco ingredient is grilled to perfection
- Manage the sauté station, handling various ingredients to create dishes that are flavorful and perfectly cooked
- Operate steam equipment to prepare dishes that require steaming, maintaining the right texture and flavor
- Assemble and build each taco to order, ensuring each one meets high standards and guests’ expectations
- Prepare and cook a variety of ingredients on the grill, fryer, sauté, and steam stations according to Torchy's recipes and standards
- Monitor the quality and presentation of each dish, ensuring that every taco meets quality standards before it reaches the guest
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met
- Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure timely and correct food preparation
- Assist with stocking and organizing ingredients to ensure kitchen readiness
- Operate with a sense of urgency during busy periods to meet guest demand while maintaining quality and presentation
