Job Requirements

  • Must meet state and local food handler’s certification requirements
  • Certification(s) must be obtained by first day or within required timeline
  • Previous experience preferred
  • Open to varied work schedules and hours based on restaurant needs
  • Must be able to stand for several hours
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various heights
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to serve guests with a high sense of urgency
  • Ability to have fun

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous culinary or line cook experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Food Handler’s certification obtained or obtainable by first day

Job Duties

  • Master the fry station ensuring all fried items are cooked perfectly with the right crispiness and flavor
  • Operate the grill station cooking proteins to correct temperature and grilling taco ingredients to perfection
  • Manage the sauté station handling ingredients to create flavorful, well-cooked dishes
  • Operate steam equipment to prepare dishes requiring steaming maintaining proper texture and flavor
  • Assemble and build each taco to order meeting high standards and guest expectations
  • Prepare and cook ingredients on grill, fryer, sauté, and steam stations according to recipes and standards
  • Monitor quality and presentation of each dish ensuring all food meets company standards before service
  • Maintain clean and organized work station ensuring food safety and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with BOH team members to ensure timely and correct food preparation
  • Assist with stocking and organizing ingredients to ensure kitchen readiness
  • Operate with urgency during busy periods maintaining quality and presentation
