Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Master the fry station, ensuring all fried items are cooked to perfection with the right crispiness and flavor
  • Operate the grill station, cooking proteins to the correct temperature and ensuring each taco ingredient is grilled to perfection
  • Manage the sauté station, handling various ingredients to create dishes that are flavorful and perfectly cooked
  • Operate steam equipment to prepare dishes that require steaming, maintaining the right texture and flavor
  • Assemble and build each taco to order, ensuring each one meets high standards and guests' expectations
  • Prepare and cook a variety of ingredients on grill, fryer, sauté, and steam stations according to Torchy's recipes and standards
  • Monitor the quality and presentation of each dish, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work station
  • Work closely with other kitchen team members to ensure timely and correct food preparation
  • Assist with stocking and organizing ingredients, ensuring kitchen readiness
  • Operate with urgency during busy periods while maintaining food quality and presentation
