Job Requirements
- Must meet state and local requirements for Food Handler’s certification
- certification(s) must be obtained by your first day or within the timeline required by your location
- open to varied work schedules and hours based on restaurant needs
- must be able to stand for several hours
- must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various heights
- must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
- ability to serve guests' needs with a high sense of urgency
- ability to have fun
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a high-volume kitchen environment preferred but not required
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- basic cooking skills including frying, grilling, sautéing, and steaming
Job Duties
- Master the fry station, ensuring all fried items are cooked to perfection with the right crispiness and flavor
- operate the grill station, cooking proteins to the correct temperature and ensuring each taco ingredient is grilled to perfection
- manage the sauté station, handling various ingredients to create dishes that are flavorful and perfectly cooked
- operate steam equipment to prepare dishes that require steaming, maintaining the right texture and flavor
- assemble and build each taco to order, ensuring each one meets company standards and guests' expectations
- prepare and cook ingredients according to company recipes and standards
- maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met
- work collaboratively with back-of-house team members to ensure timely and accurate food preparation
- assist with inventory management, including stocking and organizing ingredients
- operate efficiently during busy periods while maintaining food quality and presentation
