Job Requirements

  • Must meet state and local requirements for Food Handler’s certification
  • certification must be obtained by first day or within timeline required
  • ability to stand for several hours
  • ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels
  • ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
  • open to varied work schedules and hours based on restaurant needs
  • ability to serve guests' needs with a high sense of urgency
  • ability to have fun
  • previous experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Master the fry station, ensuring all fried items are cooked to perfection with the right crispiness and flavor
  • operate the grill station, cooking proteins to the correct temperature and ensuring each taco ingredient is grilled to perfection
  • manage the sauté station, handling various ingredients to create dishes that are flavorful and perfectly cooked
  • operate steam equipment to prepare dishes that require steaming, maintaining the right texture and flavor
  • assemble and build each taco to order, ensuring each one meets high standards and guests’ expectations
  • prepare and cook a variety of ingredients on the grill, fryer, sauté, and steam stations according to Torchy's recipes and standards
  • monitor the quality and presentation of each dish, ensuring every taco meets Damn Good standards before it reaches the guest
