Job Requirements

  • Must meet state and local requirements for food handler's certification
  • Certification must be obtained by first day or within timeline required
  • Previous experience preferred
  • Open to varied work schedules and hours based on restaurant needs
  • Must be able to stand for several hours
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various heights
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to serve guests' needs with high urgency
  • Ability to have fun

Job Qualifications

  • Food handler's certification according to state and local requirements
  • Previous cooking experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume restaurant environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
  • Ability to prepare and cook food following specific recipes
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts and hours based on restaurant needs

Job Duties

  • Master the fry station ensuring fried items are cooked to perfection with correct crispiness and flavor
  • Operate the grill station cooking proteins to correct temperature and grilling taco ingredients
  • Manage the sauté station handling various ingredients to create flavorful dishes
  • Operate steam equipment preparing dishes requiring steaming with proper texture and flavor
  • Assemble and build each taco to order ensuring they meet high standards and guest expectations
  • Prepare and cook ingredients on grill, fryer, sauté, and steam stations according to recipes and standards
  • Monitor quality and presentation of dishes ensuring each taco meets company standards before serving
