Job Requirements
- Must meet state and local requirements for food handler's certification
- certification(s) must be obtained by your first day or within the timeline required by your location
- previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred
- open to varied work schedules and hours based on restaurant needs
- must be able to stand for several hours
- must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels
- must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
- ability to serve guests' needs with a high sense of urgency
- ability to have fun
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
- food handler certification as required by state and local regulations

Job Duties
- Master the fry station, ensuring all fried items are cooked to perfection with the right crispiness and flavor
- operate the grill station, cooking proteins to the correct temperature and ensuring each taco ingredient is grilled perfectly
- manage the sauté station, handling various ingredients to create flavorful, perfectly cooked dishes
- operate steam equipment to prepare dishes requiring steaming while maintaining texture and flavor
- assemble and build each taco to order meeting high standards and guest expectations
- prepare and cook ingredients on grill, fryer, sauté, and steam stations according to Torchy's recipes and standards
- monitor quality and presentation of each dish, ensuring every taco meets company standards before serving
- maintain a clean and organized work station ensuring food safety and sanitation
- collaborate closely with back of house team members to ensure timely and correct food preparation
- assist with stocking and organizing ingredients to set up kitchen for success
- operate with urgency during busy periods while maintaining food quality and presentation
