Job Requirements

  • Must meet state and local requirements for food handler's certification
  • Certification(s) must be obtained by first day or within location timeline
  • Previous experience preferred
  • Open to varied work schedules and hours based on restaurant needs
  • Must be able to stand for several hours
  • Must be able to bend stretch twist or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels
  • Must be able to lift push pull or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to serve guests' needs with a high sense of urgency
  • Ability to have fun

Job Duties

  • Master the fry station ensuring all fried items are cooked to perfection with the right crispiness and flavor
  • Operate the grill station cooking proteins to the correct temperature and ensuring each taco ingredient is grilled to perfection
  • Manage the sauté station handling various ingredients to create flavorful and perfectly cooked dishes
  • Operate steam equipment to prepare dishes requiring steaming maintaining the right texture and flavor
  • Assemble and build each taco to order ensuring high standards and guest expectations are met
  • Prepare and cook a variety of ingredients on grill fryer sauté and steam stations according to recipes and standards
  • Monitor the quality and presentation of each dish ensuring every taco meets standards before serving
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met
  • Work closely with other BOH team members to ensure timely and correct food preparation contributing to smooth kitchen operation
  • Assist with stocking and organizing ingredients ensuring kitchen preparedness before and during service
  • Operate with a sense of urgency during busy periods maintaining food quality and presentation
