Job Requirements

  • Meet state and local Food Handler's certification requirements
  • Be able to stand for several hours
  • Ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach for objects on shelves at various heights
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds
  • Open to varied work schedules and hours
  • Ability to serve guests with a high sense of urgency
  • Ability to have fun while working
  • Certification(s) must be obtained by first day or as per location timeline

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience preferred but not required
  • Food Handler's certification must be obtained by first day or within required timeline
  • Ability to operate multiple cooking stations effectively
  • Skilled in maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong sense of urgency and positive attitude
  • Willingness to work varied schedules based on restaurant needs

Job Duties

  • Master the fry station ensuring all fried items are cooked to perfection
  • Operate the grill station cooking proteins and taco ingredients to the correct temperature
  • Manage the sauté station handling various ingredients for flavorful dishes
  • Operate steam equipment to prepare dishes requiring steaming
  • Assemble and build each taco to order meeting high standards
  • Prepare and cook ingredients at multiple stations according to recipes and standards
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations ensuring food safety
  • Collaborate with team members for timely and accurate food preparation
  • Assist with inventory stocking and organization
  • Operate efficiently with a high sense of urgency during busy periods
