Job Requirements
- Must meet state and local requirements for Food Handler’s certification
- Certification(s) must be obtained by first day or within the timeline required by the location
- Previous experience preferred
- Open to varied work schedules and hours based on restaurant’s needs
- Must be able to stand for several hours
- Must be able to bend stretch twist or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels
- Must be able to lift push pull or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
- Ability to serve guests' needs with a high sense of urgency
- Ability to have fun
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous culinary experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is a plus
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Food Handler’s certification as per state and local regulations
- Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Master the fry station ensuring all fried items are cooked to perfection with the right crispiness and flavor
- Operate the grill station cooking proteins to the correct temperature and ensuring each taco ingredient is grilled to perfection
- Manage the sauté station handling various ingredients to create flavorful and perfectly cooked dishes
- Operate steam equipment to prepare dishes that require steaming maintaining the right texture and flavor
- Assemble and build each taco to order ensuring each one meets high standards and guest expectations
- Maintain quality control across all stations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure kitchen efficiency
