Job Requirements

  • Meet state and local food handler’s certification requirements
  • Obtain certification by first day or within location timeline
  • Previous cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for several hours
  • Ability to bend stretch twist or reach objects at various heights
  • Ability to lift push pull or carry up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to serve guests with high sense of urgency
  • Open to varied work schedules and hours
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Positive attitude and ability to have fun

Job Qualifications

  • Food handler’s certification or ability to obtain by start date
  • Previous cooking experience preferred
  • Knowledge of fry grill sauté steam cooking methods
  • Ability to work in fast-paced high-volume kitchen
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Effective team collaboration skills
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules and hours based on restaurant needs

Job Duties

  • Master the fry station ensuring fried items are cooked to perfection with right crispiness and flavor
  • Operate the grill station cooking proteins to correct temperature and grilling taco ingredients perfectly
  • Manage the sauté station creating flavorful and perfectly cooked dishes
  • Operate steam equipment preparing dishes requiring steaming with proper texture and flavor
  • Assemble and build each taco to order meeting high standards and guest expectations
  • Prepare and cook ingredients on grill fryer sauté and steam stations according to recipes and standards
  • Monitor quality and presentation of each dish ensuring all meals meet Damn Good standards
  • Maintain clean and organized work station adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with back-of-house team members for timely and correct food preparation
  • Assist with stocking and organizing ingredients ensuring kitchen readiness for service
  • Operate with urgency during busy periods maintaining food quality and presentation
