Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for several hours
  • Must be able to bend stretch twist or reach for objects on shelves at various heights
  • Must be able to lift push pull or carry objects up to 40 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cooking experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
  • Ability to operate multiple cooking stations including fry, grill, sauté, steam, and taco assembly
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality standards
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to follow recipes and adhere to safety and sanitation protocols
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and varied hours

Job Duties

  • Master the fry station ensuring all fried items are cooked to perfection with the right crispiness and flavor
  • Operate the grill station cooking proteins to the correct temperature and ensuring each taco ingredient is grilled to perfection
  • Manage the sauté station handling various ingredients to create flavorful and perfectly cooked dishes
  • Operate steam equipment to prepare dishes requiring steaming while maintaining correct texture and flavor
  • Assemble and build each taco to order ensuring high-quality standards and guest satisfaction
  • Prepare and cook a variety of ingredients on multiple stations according to recipes and standards
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations ensuring food safety and sanitation standards
  • Work closely with back-of-house team members to ensure timely and correct food preparation
  • Assist with inventory management by stocking and organizing ingredients
  • Operate efficiently with a sense of urgency during busy periods maintaining quality and presentation
