Job Duties
- Master the fry station, ensuring all fried items are cooked to perfection with the right crispiness and flavor
- Operate the grill station, cooking proteins to the correct temperature and ensuring each taco ingredient is grilled to perfection
- Manage the sauté station, handling various ingredients to create dishes that are flavorful and perfectly cooked
- Operate steam equipment to prepare dishes requiring steaming, maintaining the right texture and flavor
- Assemble and build each taco to order, ensuring it meets high standards and guests' expectations
- Prepare and cook a variety of ingredients according to Torchy's recipes and standards
- Monitor the quality and presentation of each dish before it reaches the guest
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards
- Work closely with other back-of-house team members to ensure timely and correct food preparation
- Assist with stocking and organizing ingredients to ensure kitchen readiness
- Operate with urgency during busy periods while maintaining food quality and presentation
