Job Requirements

  • 1+ years cooking experience preferred
  • Food Handler's Card
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Basic knife skills including dicing, chopping, slicing
  • Ability to use a slicer, mixer, and other mechanical kitchen equipment

  • Possession of a Food Handler's Card
  • Basic knife skills including dicing, chopping, and slicing of fruits, vegetables, and meats
  • Ability to use kitchen equipment such as slicers and mixers
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and food safety standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items and dishes according to directions from kitchen supervisors or established recipes
  • Retrieve items needed for daily specials and menu items from dry storage or refrigerator/freezer
  • Prep foods prior to service such as salads and soups, including dating and storing as necessary
  • Sauté, run the broiler/deep fryer, and plate entrees as per instructions
  • Clean up work station after each service
  • Clean pots, pans, fryer, broiler, and line work area with disinfectants
  • Dispose of waste in proper receptacles
